Love Is a Pink Cake: Irresistible Bakes for Morning, Noon, and Night, was released Spring 2023 and features recipes inspired as much by my life in London as by my formative years in California. It followed The Violet Bakery Cookbook,  published in 2015, which compiled many of the recipes that have made Violet what it is; banana buttermilk bread, butterscotch blondies, and egg yolk chocolate chip cookies, among others.

My first book, The Home-Made Sweet Shop, also published under the name Sweets, Candy & Chocolates, was commissioned two years after I started Violet as a cake stall, baking from my home kitchen. Two years later I wrote The Whoopie Pie Book, an ode to those pillow-y soft cake sandwiches I love. The following year, I collaborated with long-time friend and Violet supporter, Henry Dimbleby and we co-wrote Leon: Baking & Puddings. Book 3. Other writing includes the Observer Food Monthly, The Guardian, Milk St., and Bon Appétit
